Literally TOO GOOD. I am incapable of understanding how a tiny team can make a game that captivates me on every level more than just about anything else I've played in years. The visuals and sense of speed are amazing and match the near perfectly tuned action. I don't know if the reflections are done with ray tracing, screen spacing, or planar or magic but they blow me away than anything digital foundry will spend hours looking at. This is a game I wish that people should just play, doesn't matter if you are into this that or the other. Do you like things that look and feel amazing every second you are playing it? Look no further.3 found this helpful
Asura The Striker is a "Space Harrier" clone that you feel you have to beat on one credit to be content with 😏 Highly recommend if you used to put coins into a machine to play games1 found this helpful
If you were a fan of Space Harrier and the other “Scaler” games of the 80s & 90s, Asura The Striker feels like a love letter to those classics. “Welcome to the Fantasy Zone!” It controls much better than Space Harrier and the fast-passed 3D visuals make you constantly reading the horizon as things come at you at great speeds. The updates have added some cool new features as well. I definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for that retro arcade experience with a modern coat of paint.1 found this helpful
I was hesitant to buy this at first because I thought it was a horny game. Turns out it's just got some fan service and honestly when play, you barely notice it anyway! This game is super-duper fun and the music is great, the main Asura is super super pretty (bonus), the levels are cool as heck, and all the alt outfits and vehicals have cool bullets and stuff! great game! leaving a review because your number of reviews is too low! Hope the game is doing well sales wise! Good luck devs!
This game is almost good. I rage refunded because I accidentally clicked on the greyed out gallery menu, which actually took me into the gallery menu, but then I was stuck there and had to force quit the game. Like... seriously? I didn't want to see what other glaring oversights and bugs this game had to offer. Especially considering the dev says there's been two major updates recently. Bugs aside, the graphics and overall menu design of this game are relatively polished. The bosses I did see looked very good. The backgrounds also looks good. Normal enemy design is very underwhelming, and feel out of place compared to the bosses. The actual gameplay feels broken. I think you can tweak control speed, but left at default the game feels wonky. The way the game is set up it'd be super time consuming just to tweak the control speed. Even then, it doesn't solve a lot of the problems the gameplay has. You move super fast around the screen inelegantly. Just moving around the screen is very jarring. I'm old school invert look, but neither ways felt natural. And where your bullets shoot feels very disconnected from where you think you're pointing. They feel delayed too. The area i…
I love it, it feels like im playing at the arcade~ Back to the 90s~~
