About Aurora Trail
The camera view is your best friend, and your worst enemy!
Maneuver yourself through the levels while avoiding overlapping colors by changing your perspective.
A new epic puzzle game where the perspective of the camera changes everything. Do not let your body parts get in the same view as a wall with the same color, or you’ll lose it! Puzzle your way through challenging and appealing surroundings and try to stay in one piece!
Change your perspective
Avoid overlapping colors by changing your perspective. Just do not forget to look at the art as well, it is cool to look at. It is just a little bit less cool if you have to restart because of looking to the wrong color.
Different kind of puzzles
In this puzzle game you will find different kind of puzzles. Try to figure out how you can pass it, just never forget the rules of the colors.

"Aurora Trail" is an experimental game from the Netherlands, possibly an attempt to make a showcase for a fledgling game studio. Spoiler: The studio is no longer in business, this was the only game they made, which tells us a bit about what to expect from this tech demo. This is a puzzle game where the camera's perspective affects gameplay. You must navigate levels without overlapping colors on your body and walls, or you lose. The game is about avoiding color collisions through perspective changes... essentially one of those games where your skill at playing the actual game is less important than wrestling with deliberately bad controls. Sure, it's a novel gimmick... but being a new idea doesn't make it a good idea. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, …1 found this helpful
Unique puzzle game where you can't let colors of the area interlap with the colors on your body. VERY cool concept!!
An unusual and engaging 3D puzzle platformer where you play as a golem with a multicolored body. Each color segment cannot touch the same color in the environment—if it does, that part of your body disappears, often resulting in instant death. This creates a tense and strategic puzzle experience unlike anything I’ve played before. The game also introduces clever mechanics like floating platforms and spinning walls, adding extra layers of challenge and variety. Early levels are creative and fun, but the later stages can be brutally unforgiving—I even had to consult a guide to beat the final levels. Even with that guide, it took me quite some time to finally beat the last level, because you need to be precise. Overall, it’s a unique experience. The concept is fantastic, though the steep difficulty spike at the end might frustrate some players. Still, it’s worth checking out if you enjoy inventive puzzles and platforming.
I like this game. I think the concept is unique. I haven't finished it but I enjoy each time i go back to it. I think it has the right amount of difficulty.
