About Back in Service: a Metro Driver

Join the adventure and become the master of the metro in a fascinating game that takes you into the mysterious underground world of the Prague capital city. Face challenges on the tracks from the cabin of the historic EČS or 81-71 train. Can you complete the entire route, transport all passengers, and avoid any delays? This game is not an ordinary train simulator. Here, you have complete freedom to choose what you want to do. Become a train driver and improve your skills, explore the underground tunnels, or help your colleagues with various tasks. If, as a conductor, you prove yourself by completing your route on time according to the schedule, you’ll earn some money. You can then spend it on various items. More ways to spend your earned money will appear in future versions.Likewise, future versions will bring more stations, trains, and tasks!

Awesome metro simulator (someone says it is more arcade but I think it has great balance between realism and simulation). The graphics, the details, sound, ilumination of stations is really cool and makes cool atmosphere alltogether - especially the sound of the trains, the engine is exactly as I remember it back in time when the 81-71 trains were standard in Prague metro and brings back memories 🥲. I am looking forward for what next will come - hopefully lines C and B and maybe even the M1 trains (although the game is situated to the beginning of 90s before the trains were introduced to line C). There are some minor bugs like people diasappering when entering the train - when they kind of do not "mind the gap between the train and the platform" 😂 and sometimes the AI driven trains run into you but what fun would it be without these, right??

This is not a simulator. It is an arcade-y train driver simulator. The controls are super simple. But... it is one of the best games I have ever played. You have total freedom to choose whatever you want to do. Want to drive trains? Sure! Want to be a ticket inspector? Why not? Want to walk in the tunnels and get ran over? Absolutely! The game can be buggy some times but it is still fantastic. The devs also seem to be actually working on it which is always a very good sign. The only thing I'd love to see is more advanced stuff and scenarios. Stuff like spawning the train turned off, random faults with the train that require you to take it out of service or fix it yourself (faulty doors), control over what announcements to play (e.x. "The next station is closed"), handing the train over to a colleague and vice versa, etc. Can't wait to see what's more to come!

Very realistic game, maybe with some mistakes, but very good so far

the game gives you no tutorial except for a page of words at the beginning, you are thrown in not knowing what to do and get [strike] raped [/strike] LOVED by ARS in the first five seconds, not to mention the fairly bad optimisation. i believe this game can do better as it is still in early access, however i probably wont play this until they add some form of a tutorial later on
