Ball, Fall, Dungeon Crawl

Great game! Almost like a combination of the puzzle based game mechanics from Puzzle Pirates crossed with the gritty dungeon crawling of an old classic like Castle of the Winds!

Game is easy enough to pick up and begin. The first few times you play will be learning the ropes and exploring. Pretty quickly you'll be setting up strategies and pushing deeper into the depths. Excited to see where this title goes as Early Access continues.

Probably the most chill dungeon crawler I've played. There's definitely been some thought put behind this one. The developer has come up with some interesting ways to translate genre staples such as sneak attacks into a ball fall game. Many of the mechanics are bare bones or very rough right now, as you'd expect from a game in early access. But the developer is still actively working on it, adding new monster, items, mechanics and levels, and even listens to player feedback. There are currently three classes, and each class has 2 unique support skills they start with, but there are no levels or skill trees (yet?). Progression is more about finding better items, and every class can use every item. While its possible to have a bad run due to poor drops or excessive trap spawning, the game has usually done a good job in making sure you've got some equipment options suitable for the level you're on. Overall an easy recommend for those looking to try a slower paced dungeon delve.

This game sucks you in! Easy to learn as you're playing and figure out your strategy. Also, good music vibes.

This game is addictive! It gives candy crush vibes without the ads but better. Its not overtly stressful but still challenging enough that it isn't mindless. I like that even if I die and restart, the game/map is different every time. I played on my steamdeck and it works perfectly in the handheld mode.

Unique ball-merge combat with a standout soundtrack Ball Fall Dungeon Crawl is a different take on dungeon crawling, and I haven't played anything quite like it. Merging balls to fight is easy to understand, and it gets more strategic once you start thinking about drops and merges. The soundtrack is the highlight. It sets the mood well, and keeps fights energetic. It's a challenging game, but the losses make me want to jump back in rather than quit. It's early access, so I expect balance and content to keep improving with updates. If you want something fresh and like a challenge, give it a look. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.
