About Deepest Dungeons
In Deepest Dungeons, a rogue-like adventure with extraction elements, you will descend into the depths of an ever-changing labyrinth. The maze shifts with each venture, challenging your resolve as you delve deeper into the darkness.
You play as a young adventurer who follows the king's call to reclaim the valuable runes stolen by mysterious monsters from the depths. With only the courage in your heart and the gear you gather along the way, you must survive the relentless dangers of the dungeons and explore the deeper levels to bring back what was taken.
As you explore, you'll face powerful creatures, deadly traps, and uncover hidden treasures. To reach deeper levels of the dungeon, you'll need to find special keys hidden within. Along the way, you'll discover rare items and equipment to enhance your survivability, giving you the edge needed to pull through the dangers below.
Each dungeon is a unique maze filled with its own set of challenges and dangers. As you descend further, the mazes grow larger and demand greater use of your wits and the tools you've discovered to navigate and locate the exit.
Sometimes, you'll come across exits that lead out of the dungeon. It's your choice: return to the surface to save your progress in the Stashbox and reorganize yourself, or continue deeper into the dungeons, risking everything for greater rewards.
As you venture through the dungeons, you'll come across gear and items, left behind by those who ventured before you, that enhance your abilities in combat but also provide crucial advantages as you navigate the dungeon’s twisting corridors.
The dungeons are filled with lurking monsters and deadly traps. As an untrained adventurer from the countryside, each enemy you face requires special attention. The deeper you go, the more threatening the monsters become. Stay alert - every encounter could be your last.
Death isn't the end. While you'll lose your progress, the items in your Stashbox from previous runs can aid your next attempt. Learn, adapt, and descend again, growing stronger with each fall.
And for those who conquer the depths, a new challenge awaits - New Game Plus lets you dive back in with enhanced difficulty, offering new dangers.

Basically all of the positive reviews for this game are from people who have played it for 20 or 30 minutes, and yeah, the first 20-30 minutes is fun. I'd even say the first five or six hours are fun, but after that the major design flaws of the game really 'shine.' If you're going to make it where the player loses everything on him/her when he/she dies, fine, but you HAVE to let the player leave after every single floor completed. In the beginning of the game, you have to clear two floors before reaching an outpost, which essentially lets you go back to camp. Later in the game, you have to complete THREE floors before you're able to get out, and mind you, these floors are SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than the beginning floors. This is an insane design choice. Sure, you have a stash where you can put extra gear when you get out alive, but the only time you're gonna get out alive is in the earlier stages when the loot you're bringing back is completely obsolete anyway. There is ZERO reason to save any trash gear. You basically have to sell everything in order to afford the really good stuff from the blacksmith in the camp, but you'll never get there because you die with hundreds an…10 found this helpful
A lot to like, only problem for me is the controls in combat are just horrible. In the middle of an empty hallway fighting 1 mob, you try to roll away and you're stuck on the floor rolling in place for no reason..die. lose everything. If they can get the combat to feel less buggy and clumsy would be a lot of fun.2 found this helpful
Nice but challenging dungeon game with a cute look to it. After playing the first few floors you find out how to fight the enemies the best way - but as you get deeper, new floors bring new type of enemies but also new types of weapons and shields. I like the variety of enemies, weapons, items and floor layouts. If you die, you loose everything that you brought into the dungeon (that can be a bit frustrating) but you can use the stashbox at the "lobby" to save items for your next try. For me the game is fun after a few hours of practice and learning how the game and everything works but it can still be tricky sometimes especially when there are suddenly a few enemies at once it can be quite hard to survive. Anyway I like to explore every corner and find out more about the game's lore. Also a positive thing to notice: the game already improved after release with updates and a lot since the demo. The devs take feedback and bug reports serious and are also very friendly and responsive. They're also adding new features on community requests to improve the game.2 found this helpful
For the first hour I reached up to floor 5, it's actually not bad, has extraction elements and combat of a souls-like kinda, has the roguelike feeling and exploring is worthwhile at least they have meaning to continue further! Looking to play again here soon.1 found this helpful
Game seems abandoned already, it seemed interesting but needed a lot of work. The game should have been free.1 found this helpful
