Baoli

Key Features

• Exploration and Puzzle Solving: The player, as Arjun, will explore these environments, searching for clues and solving puzzles to progress the narrative. This includes finding keys, using dates as passwords, decoding Morse code, and potentially deciphering number lock hints.
• Unreliable Narrator and Hallucinations: A central element of the psychological horror is the unreliable nature of Arjun's perception due to his drug use and the potential for hallucinations, particularly the presence and actions of his friend. This blurring of reality and illusion will be a key source of tension and confusion for the player.
• Environmental Storytelling: The state of the environments, such as the messy hostel room and the dusty house, along with items like the smiling photograph of Arjun and his brother, contribute to the narrative and provide insights into Arjun's mental state and his relationship with his brother.
• Supernatural Elements: The appearance of a scary ghost resembling Arjun's friend introduces a potential supernatural threat, further blurring the lines between reality and hallucination. The "fear meter" and heartbeat sound during encounters with the ghost will add to the horror experience.
•  Email as a Narrative Device: The changing content of the mysterious email serves as a crucial plot point, suggesting an external force at play and escalating Arjun's fear and paranoia. The email also provides potential clues, such as the alphanumeric patient ID.
•  Flashbacks and Memory Sequences: Triggered by events or locations, brother's death flashback will provide fragmented glimpses into Arjun's past, particularly his relationship with his brother and a potentially traumatic event at the baoli.
