When you like escape games this wil disapoint you. seems like after 40 min zou still doing the same things, serching for items and place them in the ovious spot. also the games framerate drops to 16fps on my notebook on 720 only. other games with way better grafiks run on 1080p with 60fps no problem. so somehow the game does not fit my computer. but this can be only my problem and on others is okay idk.
The game is pretty short but quite ok. The vocalisation is mostly very weak. The puzzles are pretty nice. These jumpscares are really annoying which makes the game rather annoying. The story pretty much doesnt interest me. For a little puzzle game its ok and its FREE. I can recommend it.
I would like to say that this is a good game, but that would be stretching the truth beyond the boundaries of truthful elasticity. Quite a lot of the graphics are crappy, running straight through trees, rats disappearing straight into stone flooring, me having to turn my graphics game quality right down to minimum despite that my device has EASILY handled games with MUCH better graphics than this game. Then there's the mouse/controller issue with throwing items. You're supposed to click LMB (left mouse button) once to pick up an item. That's fine. And twice to throw it. I've found to be rather "sticky" at times and when you do double click, if you click too fast, the rock or item just drops, if you click too slow, the rock or item doesn't thrown at all. And then there's the whole game freeze when I get to right near the end. I happened to light the orb above the room where the wrapped body (I'm assuming my uncle) is, and when I did, the game totally freezes and about the only thing I can do, is jump. Can't move, can't use mouse interaction. Thankfully, this game was FREE! Because I would DEFINITELY be demanding a refund!
I really wanted to give this a chance, but I couldn't. Straight away the voice acting was pretty bad, which I was able to forgive. But then you have random jumpscares ruining the atmosphere, a fire torch with particles that constantly get in your way whenever you move, no FOV slider...the straw that broke the camel's back for me was the endlessly spawning spiders during one part of the tutorial, which just made me want to stop. It's a shame, because I really liked the idea, and the character artwork is really nice.
