Command valiant warriors and vicious demons in BattleLore: Command, based on the board game BattleLore Second Edition. Lead the noble Daqan army as they fearlessly defend their homeland from the invading hordes of the Uthuk Y’llan– demon-blooded barbarians spreading chaos and destruction wherever they go. Or, lead the Uthuk Y’llan and channel their fury into military supremacy.

This is a decent 2014 mobile port of a fun but RNG-heavy fantasy board game. There are quite a few changes from the original physical game, but all changes seem to have been made to keep the game flowing smoothly. Some examples: - The Lore phase is now at the start of the turn instead of the end and no longer involves player choice, speeding up gameplay. - Command cards are now divided into basic and unique cards, and the basic cards can be refreshed, adding strategic depth while reducing RNG. The game comes with a fun singleplayer campaign with a few branching paths. I have not tried the multiplayer mode. The narration and animation are good, the sound design and music are serviceable. My only real complaint is that players not familiar with the board game might like to know what possible sides are on the dice being rolled, which this digital version never communicates to the player. For example, it's never mentioned that ranged hits are on only 1/6 sides while melee hits (for non-weak units) are on 2/6 sides.4 found this helpful

It is just not a good game.
Quick to learn fun to play with some campaigns and versus modes this is an enjoyable board game based battle game
Sadly this is a dead game. I could have been great! I don't know why the sales were not good. The chess like play is engrossing.
