Dies revives repeats 4 times. Learns i need skills buy skills, run to all the trainers same stock shrugs and assumes other towns have more skills runs to other towns same skills. Run around with 8 skills for 2 hours learn when in my inventory the side blades are arrows for inventory revilation hits me like your fathers nut sack last month. Friend told me to try blade mistress, At first it was a bit off putting. Having to look allot of it up or join the discord and ask the community. I noticed the staff do more announcements in the discord then on the steam announcements for the game. I spoke to them to post most on the announcements here and they seemed receptive. Now with that out of the way there is allot to unpack blade mistress is about 500mbs less then a gig but the grind and amount of items and things to do in game give it a 5 to 10gb feel. Everything is free there is no ingame micros it seems the servers are payed out of pocket as a passion project. The game claims to be partly idle how ever there is an anti idle kick after about 2 or 3 hours And seems to have anti macro like detection. Currently the engine the game runs on seems to conflict with screen resolution changes but i was told this is fixed in the coming week or soo (of this review) March 31st 2026 how ever the game community gives that of ruin scape with free things which in its own way ruins the grind at times. So 700 hours and im quite enjoying the game.. Some issues here and there with the need of a wiki look up but thats the good old 90s feel of old school games. Few things i wish i knew when starting like the swords on the pages and ui being up and down pages for scrolling and that aging boosts your work values but in the end i will continue to play the game.

This is the most idless, timewaster, semi-autobattler MMO ever with the worst progression slog ever. This makes Runescape look like Titanfall by comparison. I commend the dev for their really hard work on the necromancy for this game but it was poop back then and its still poop now. Some old games really are just not good. The developer has been working really hard on this game and has given it a partial remaster and has been keeping this niche game up for so long. I wish more MMOs got this treatment and it is a very commendable effort. For this reason BM is actually kind of fascinating and despite the slog there is a little bit of humor here if you want to just spend a few hours exploring this lonely world. But like I said earlier there's more satisfying battlers to play and this game is really more played for the "surreal retro vibes" if anything. Its also free so you really lose nothing except time.

Fun rpg. I really like the graphics and the 3D female babes walking around.
