Princess&Blade

It's a limited game- got 16hrs out of it w me taking longer in games than most, not likely to return to it- but it was a fun enough ride to thumbs up. It's a lot of combat, but it never seemed to make sense to do anything other than cheese w archery. It's pretty repetitive, but there's an end goal that's achievable relatively handily. It starts w a series of purely linear "adventures", then drops you in an open world that needs "clearing," and once that's done, I guess that's it. The adult stuff is there, connected to the relationship of the female protagonist to her new horny talking sword that's sorta kinda helping her save the world, but it's accessed in specific locations w manual triggers, so it's not particularly dynamic even if it's decently paced/written/conceived. The "traps" are also only "triggered" manually (intentionally), and they seem interesting at first, but then you see that it literally drops you into the center of a hostile camp to aggro everything all at once, so, meh. The character creator is kinda nice/detailed except that it seemed to have no adjustment for the bottom half of the character for some reason. The outfits include the usual range from princ…

I'll start this by saying that this isn't bad for it's price, but it does have it's issues which just makes me want to wait for the remaster or sequel that is apparently in the works. I'll finish by saying that it's not so much the frame rate itself that's the issue, but more so that it's the constant hitching and frame drops that I experienced personally. I certainly don't have the best computer, but it should be more then powerful enough to run instanced maps with no real interactables outside of the enemies themselves and the clothing on the main character. I'll go ahead and wait for the remaster or sequel that is apparently in the works and hope that runs better as well as has a bit more to it. The clothing being all 500 gold each regardless of which body part they are part of is also pretty stupid.

For what it is it's okay. Linear point A to point B game play. has some nudity and two maybe three goofy not quite sex scenes. It feels old. Still fun enough though. Combat is button mashy. There is an add on you can download off google docs. Most mods go in the game files in the data folders and such. This one goes somewhere else. you have to follow the steps in the pinned post in the discussions, and there are some options as to how to do it. Once working it seems to be just a trio of mediocre adult scenes. The game says there will be more content in the future.

The game works. Very few glitches. Some object you can pass through and some you can't. Its pretty much you got a base and you just go through the 24 maps and get stronger. However, thank goodness for cheats. I play without cheating for a while but the low gold pay annoyed me. It is like the most you can make is about 399 or 499 gold. Well it seems like you always have to do like 3 missions before you can afford 1 clothing for find it. Well I am glad that the Dev included the cheat option. Yea, it won't be as fun but we can dress up our girl. I tried to make her look like my favorite HR lady at work. But could not find the right hair style. I did get close to it. Only improvement if it played a little more like Skyrim. That would be great Princess Blade 2. For 6 bucks, its not bad of a game.
