1st off, the hitboxes don't feel fair. There were too many times when I died and I could swear that damn arrow couldn't hit me. And to make it worse, respawning takes too long. Considering how often you will die in this game, respawning should be near instant. That out of the way, I must say I like this game. If you want a challenging game, then give this a try. Although, I'd recommend taking regular breaks because this game is not good for your fingers.4 found this helpful
"Bling: Fortune Memories" is not a platformer, as the developer weirdly tries to describe it. I think probably Steam Direct should have a test where the "developer" is asked "What kind of game is it?" and if they get the answer wrong, they're not allowed to publish their game. Instead, it's a 2D minimalist-ish action puzzle "adventure" game. It's not really an adventure game either. What do you do in the game? You explore a temple filled with traps and puzzles, and your goal is to find your missing brother. The gameplay revolves around tactical grid-based movement, powerups and a healthy range of other gimmicks... basically shuffling around a square grid map, avoiding hazards and doing action-timing-movement puzzles to complete each level. This would have been seen as truly remarkable... in 1992. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might p…2 found this helpful
Great job! This game is as challenging as it is fun. 🔥 Can’t wait to unlock that Inmortal achievement... if I ever stop dying! 🤣2 found this helpful
Don't let the minimalist style fool you, after the first couple levels it gets pretty brutal!
Surprisingly fun and challenging for a free game. The grid-based movement and invisibility mechanic make every level feel like a puzzle. It’s simple, smart, and gets tougher as you go. If you like strategic games with a minimalist vibe, give this one a shot!
