About Treasure Temples

Two young adventurers have discovered a series of ancient treasure chambers, hidden deep beneath the snow of Antarctica! It's up to you to guide them in this puzzle adventure where every step matters. Quite literally, as ancient floor tiles crumble away behind you with every step you take!

In each chamber, you will have to discover a path that gets you to all the gold and then back toward the exit safely. The collapsing floor tiles form the major obstacle to achieving this goal, but as you progress, you will also have to deal with deadly traps, ancient guardians and possibly more... All that glittering gold seems to have caught the eye of something quite large, lurking just beneath the water's surface.

Features

  • Over 140 levels: each treasure chamber offers a unique puzzle that was crafted by hand
  • Puzzle at your own pace: there are no time constraints or mechanics that rely on dexterity
  • Various obstacles: crumbling floor tiles, traps that launch deadly darts and enemies that react to your moves
  • Duo exploration mode: control two adventurers instead of one, providing both new challenges and new ways to overcome them
  • Unique treasures: at the end of each level pack, you will find unique treasures that will add some nice variety to your ever expanding hoard
  • Mysterious aquatic life forms: possibly dangerous, definitely out for the gold as well!

So, the game is far too over complicated (for the game genre intended) and here is the common sense: The game has 145 levels. Each level has a set amount of gold clusters scattered around. In order to finish the level, the player (you) are required to collect ALL the gold for the entire level, regardless of your choice to not collect all the gold. You're forced to play every level in this manner. Now to add salt to the injury, the animation for EVERY single move must be played out fully, before you can initiate the next move. There is no fluidity in the game. Some levels can take 5-10 minutes, where others take 15-20 minutes EACH. Take into consideration, that some of the earlier levels have more than 70 moves to solve a single level, clearly the developer built this game, not for their audience, but for themselves. And here is some more - why would a game include a mechanic of "Attempts" for each level for absolutely no purpose, other than self gratification? And more - the controls for movement are built on a standard Up, Down, Left and Right. However, this becomes a problem when every level is orientated on a 45 degree angle with no way of changing this, meaning that the user co…

Played on Steam Deck. Nice puzzle game, gets pretty hard though and some later stages can get tedious. Fits great on Deck probably because it's a mobile game port.

Nice variety of puzzles. An undo option would be super helpful.

It is a puzzle game. Nothing complex although I did not get far because this is not my style but the game is enjoyable. Seems like there is some sort of story.

I've determined that puzzle games like this just aren't my thing. It's a decently well-done head scratcher if you are into that kind of thing. Figure out the perfect path to win the level. Wash, rinse, repeat.

It was a fine puzzle game, just a little too hard for what I want in a chilled out puzzle game
