About Bomb Bay

Bomb Bay is a new single player game that takes the player into many different and unique settings with the task of arming explosive devices on enemy payloads. You are all alone, with nothing but your mind, your weaponry, and your mission.

This game offers hours of fun while giving you a rush of excitement leaving you on the edge of your seat wanting more. As the player, YOU get to decide how you play. You can run and gun, mowing down anyone that gets in your way. Or you can choose a more stealthy approach, leaving havoc in your way and disappearing before they even know what hit them.

Players can play many different ways. Whether that be arming the bombs, and heading straight to the EVAC zone. Or doing some snooping around and finding some beneficial equipment to assist on their mission. The possibilities are endless, whatever you can think of doing, you can do it here. Each level brings a new challenge to the player and new strategies to think of. No mission can be played the exact same.

Key Features:
 • Arm the three bombs on set locations, all while keeping your health up, completing secondary objectives, planning out strategies, and making fast decisions.
 • Learn the importance of mixing stealth and chaos to beat every situation with maximum proficiency.
 • Take a chance to explore the maps and find ways to assist you in your endeavors.

*Free DLC to come in future updates!

Bomb Bay feels like a student's first crack at making game content beyond simply adding stuff to a level, although they still need practice at that too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpET5BD7bq8 This game is a collection of five or so singleplayer missions that see you navigate some bare bones maps and complete very simple objectives such as arming bombs on planes. The missions are very boring and easy even on the hardest difficulty. The A.I rarely responds to gunshots unless they are either shot at directly or are roughly 10 feet away from the player. They then simply run towards you and start shooting. Sometimes the A.I doesn't even notice you despite being a few feet away and looking directly at the player. Mission objectives in Bomb Bay are very simple, usually just planting bombs at specific points that have one or two enemies guarding them. In the level I completed the bombs didn't even explode after the mission ended. I simply went back to a helicopter and left. The combat is very rough as well. It all feels like Unity templates for combat that didn't have anything added to them. Shooting weapons makes the model flop around the screen but there isn't actually any reco…

As the game is, it is not amazing. This game has a long way to go before it is completely flushed out; however, even with the flaws that this game has, it is still fun. I enjoyed playing through the levels and can see myself playing them again, as I missed side objectives and other secrets. I would reccemend this if you are bored and want a short game to play through.

I don't write reviews for games so this will be a pretty medicore take at it. To start off I'll give you the short of it, for a game made entirely by one person on a simplistic engine it is a good entry into the steam catalog of games that is littered with broken and unplayable trash.
Gameplay
Like I mentioned before this engine is known to be simplistic unless you are an actual game company with a budget to pay for very expensive version of it. With what the developer had to work I'd say this is great. The movements and gunplay are surprisingly smooth and it is genuinely fun to run/sneak around the levels lurking up on enemies and killing them with a stealthy mace swing from behind. The guns themselves feel very diverse and act appropriately to their real world counterparts. The setup is similar to that of old school shooters like Doom and Quake with their ammo and health pickup styles with a modern touch of stealth from newer games like Splinter Cell or Dishonored. I am definitely a fan of this, being my favorite part of the game overall. The AI is the only part of gameplay that I can complain about. They are very simple and lack any real intelligence. I have been tol…
