This small novel like game has a simple and effective gameplay style. On the left side of the screen you have some animated images and on the right side you have your phone. The music fits pretty spot on with the blue color tones and atmosphere drawn up by the story. With your phone you will send and receive messages, read the news, and play with the game settings if need be. During dialogue the player is given two choices to reply with. This is a choices matter type game but only for particular things. Choices effect your relationships with characters and how they interact with you; but the penultimate ending is essentially the same regardless of the interactions. [h1]Don't Understand Tech Lingo? As a huge fan of cyberpunk, hacking themed games, and techno-thrillers, I was excited to have stumbled across this game on Steam. When I originally wishlisted it, I didn't know too much about it - but I later found out from other reviews that it was more of a story-driven, SMS simulation game, in the style of Emily is Away, in which your choices in conversation have an effect on the story as a whole. Having now finished it, I can say I did enjoy the experience overall, and I would suggest it if you're looking for this type of gameplay. The art of subways, stairways, and cityscapes do a great job at making you feel a part of the story. [*] Having a news ticker in addition to SMS conversations is a nice touch. You're choosing one of the two answers during the conversations that (possibly) affects on the plot. I thought it's more of a hacking simulator but it's absolutely not. Anyway story was about 2 hours long play that's quite good for a small game. And the story itself feels mostly completed and nice written. I didn't like big gaps between conversations. It would be a nice idea for smartphones but for PC I'd like more smooth gameplay. Also text writing take many time and there's no difference in time if NPC writes a long text or a short. Great that developers added a glossary that can be useful for people that don't fully understand this theme. Graphics: Background pictures are nice. They're setting the gray mood of the game. An engaging story, even if it is outside my experience. Well written, good sound track. Like good sci-fi it contains some kernals of truth (maybe, one never knows). Scary.
