About Break The Targets
Break the Targets is a unique time-trial platformer game with simple controls featuring hundreds of levels and an online leaderboard for competitive placing.
\Juggle\ - Hit the ball trought various stage as fast as possible.
\Battle Discord\ - Play against other players in real time on a unique random level.
\Target Buster Mode\ - How many targets can you destroy in 1 minute?
Running Buster Mode - How far can you go in 2 minutes?
Powershield Mode - Increase your powershielding reflexes!
Canon Mode - Catch the targets before they crash on the ground
Endurance Mode - A long level with increasing difficulty and checkpoints along the way

Controls
- Attacks: Default controls use WASD, so be sure to change adapt it to your keyboard settings.
- Press the Rope Button to create a rope while close enough to an attachable object to traverse dangerous terrain.
- Use your shield (Airdodge in air) to avoid getting hit by the charge shot and other projectiles!
- Additional characters abilities like laser, bomb, phantasm or teleport are also unlockable after reaching the required XP level.
These techniques add a new dimension to the game and provide new ways to complete all levels in a shorter time.

Break The Targets is a game that is appealing to a very specific niche genre. It’s one of, if not the only game that tries to recreate what the Super Smash games created with their Break The Targets mode. There is a strong, but small, community for this genre, and I imagine there are fans of speedrunning in general who will find this game to be good. However, I am going to be reviewing this game from my own perspective. I've never been a hardcore speedrunner, and I haven’t spent a lot of time playing the Break The Targets modes in Smash. I encourage you to check out the game for yourself and form your own opinions. [h1]Overview[/h1] Break the Targets has many small issues that add up to a less than ideal experience. You start out learning how to move and jump, which are the most basic mechanics that anyone can figure out. However they fail to teach you that you have a shield and a rope that you HAVE to use to progress in certain situations. Great game that embodies the soul of Smash's break the targets mode.
Ridiculous amount of content for cheap. Controls feel great which is the most important thing. Great if you like speedrunning small stages. Feels satisfying to constantly be unlocking something new and going up the leaderboards.
It is a really fun game. I find myself often trying to beat my own scores and it's really easy to get into
Great game! I saw this recommended on r/ssbm and it truly is a great speedrunning platformer. It looks like you can use in-game points to "buy" replays of top scores and things, so I suppose if you're totally stuck you can always check out what others have done (I have not used this feature, yet)
