This game exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it.

I have mixed feelings, but overall, you get a $1-$2 value out of this game, so I cannot, in good faith, not recommend it, considering its price. Brother Wings is a simple arcade-style fixed shooter where you pilot a plane. The gameplay loop is extremely similar to that of Galaga. You are offered two game modes, time attack and infinite. In time attack, you must shoot 50 ships before a 30 second timer ticks down so it can restart and you can continue. In infinite, you simply must shoot down as many enemies as you can for a high score. This gameplay loop is fine enough, until you've seen all enemies. The geometrical artstyle is quite charming, but it's not used to its full potential. Some bulleted complaints: - You run into bugs a few times, many of which break the game and force a restart. For example, the timer breaking on time attack. - The game has no pause button. - The same music repeating over and over becomes grating. Of course, they give you the option to disable it, but some alternating tracks would be lovely. - The achievement requirements are vague. It does not keep a counter you can see for how many shots have been fired. And sometimes, they don't function anyways.…
