I played the demo during Steam Next fest and decided to pick it up once it came out. I like the style, the music and the sound effects. I wasn't really a part of the PC-98 era but I get the vibe. I quite like the character art as well. The interface style is interesting and I think the game uses it well enough, I haven't seen it before in this style of game so I found it unique. Game is short but it is mentioned that this is a starter project, so is understandable. It does have some cons though for an English speaker. The text is mostly legible but its..off, it needs a pass by a native English speaker. Also the game is buggy with the art in places, with portrait boxes appearing, eyes and mouth not appearing on side characters portraits sometimes. There is a confusing setup as well where the start of the game leads into a cut-scene eventually and then lands back at the start menu, you have to press "New Game" again to get into the game proper.
