The World is Snow and Steel
In the world of Bulkhead, you take control of a hulking, armor-clad Soldier. For reasons unknown, his sole purpose is to protect the Girl with which he travels. The Soldier and the Girl are inseparable, but this world is cruel. Along their travels, the Girl falls into a trap. Unable to free her, the Soldier watches helplessly as a transmission beacon shoots into the dark sky. It turns out the pair were running from something.
And now you’re about to find out what.
Protect the Girl at all costs in this gritty third-person tower-defense game:
- Build hulking towers to keep enemies at bay
- Collect resources from foes
- Use your frost cannon to stop enemies in their tracks

A really interesting idea, but the first person is very slow, clunky and the "gun" is a complete was of time. The idea of the enemies fighting back is great, but they only attack the towers and you get a second of ammo before having to 'rearm' your weapon. If there was more ammo, more weapons or more towers, it might be fun, but right now it's just , build tower, wait for wave, repeat. No innovation, no progression, nothing to drive the game play experience forward.1 found this helpful
It started off well, though that didn't last long. The game itself is very unbalanced and ends up sending hundreds of enemies, which start swarming you too fast for you to defend. The main weapon, which freezes enemies, needs recharging every time you use it, making it difficult to fend them off while also recharging at the same time. There are also multiple ways that you need to defend with your 3 turrets and crappy freeze gun. Maps are also limited, considering that there is only one. Progression is basically non-existent in this game, killing replayability. 4/101 found this helpful

Игра Bulkhead - это настоящий хардкор для любителей тактических шутеров! Будьте готовы к медленному и продуманному геймплею, где каждое движение имеет значение. Никакого рандома, только скилл, знание карт и умение работать в команде. Графика, конечно, не самая современная, но стилистика приятная и не отвлекает от процесса. Особенно радует внимание разработчиков к деталям и исторической достоверности Второй мировой войны. Оружие ощущается аутентично, а звуковое сопровождение создает напряженную атмосферу. Но стоит понимать, что порог вхождения довольно высокий. Новичкам будет сложно освоиться сразу, нужно много тренироваться и учиться у более опытных игроков. Также хотелось бы больше контента, особенно новых карт и режимов. В целом, если вы ищете бескомпромиссный и тактически глубокий шутер, то Bulkhead - отличный выбор. Это игра для тех, кто ценит не динамичный экшен, а стратегическое планирование и командную работу.
