Tower defense with FPS. Great levels, where you build path for enemies to follow. More and more monsters incoming with each wave and try to overrun your core. In the meantime blaze your guns to keep them away. A lot of fun for coop. Unique and original. Still a great game!
I don't feel like this has aged well and when I compare the tower defense to games like Defense Grid 2 it really doesn't hit for me. Playing in the world with the towers seems like a fun gimmick but I think it hurts more than helps. Being on the ground floor means you don't have a good view of the play field (as compared to standard top-down view), the enemies can bump and jostle you, your towers can get in your way, they add some enemies that directly attack you to cause you problems at some point. I don't feel like they make it clear exactly how you can improve your setup and some of the towers are very bad. Example of a terrible tower: The mortar seems like it's meant to be the defacto AoE (it's in the default loadout), however, it's very slow, long range, and I'm pretty sure it can't see past other towers; this is a tower type that you'd usually throw way back in the distance where you have some blank area and let help keep up the DPS on groups but here the primary swarm enemies basically aren't visible to anything that isn't directly along the path. I think being on the ground floor, the ragdolls blocking your view, and perhaps the UI make it hard to gauge exactly how well …

It was my first ever steam game and the reason why I discovered steam as a plattform. I got it for free and to be honest I would not have bought it. But suprisingly for the few hours I played it was okay fun. So if it is 5$ or less I would say try it.
