About Captain Backwater
Captain Backwater is a puzzle game that was first released over 15 years ago. Since that was quite a while ago, I decided to offer the game for free to everyone.
You need to slide items around the playfield. If they collide with similar ones they magically disappear. This is getting more and more challenging as new items are introduced.

Она подкупает своей очаровательной пиксельной графикой и непринужденным геймплеем в духе "Stardew Valley", но с акцентом на рыбалку и исследование речных просторов. Повествование не хватает звезд с небес, но оно достаточно милое и позволяет привязаться к главному герою и его амбициям. Плюсы игры – это медитативный процесс рыбалки, разнообразие рыбы и возможность улучшения своего снаряжения, а также изучение локаций, полных секретов и дружелюбных обитателей. Однако, игра может показаться немного монотонной для тех, кто ищет динамичный экшен. Отсутствие глубокого сюжета и сложных механик может оттолкнуть хардкорных геймеров, но для казуальных игроков, желающих отдохнуть и расслабиться, "Captain Backwater" станет отличным выбором. Несмотря на небольшие недостатки, очарование игры и её ретро-стиль заставляют возвращаться к ней снова и снова. Рекомендую всем, кто любит спокойные игры с пиксельным дизайном!

[h1]Before I played Captain Backwater, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]
[b] Captain Backwater [/b] is a pirate puzzle game that requires you to launch pieces of the same type either horizontally or vertically causing them to disappear when they collide. Your mission is to wipe all pieces off the board. There are hidden coins in most levels that you can collect and in some levels a monkey that throws bananas that you have to catch. The game has some quirky mechanics like arrows, stop signs and rapiers that you can utilise to complete the level. While the game has a good puzzle concept, visuals and music, I cannot recommend it for the following reasons: - There are a 100 levels with linear progression and if you get stuck on one, you are REALLY stuck. I personally got stuck on level 37 and got bored after that. - Coins and bananas don't seem to have any value at all (except for opening levels beyond level 80 which requires a measly amount). - There are only 8 trophies and I already got 5 by playing less than an hour. - Undoing a step counts as a step and is a completely superfluous implementation.
