A hostile fleet pursues you through an asteroid field. Your vessel is slow and unarmed. They don't stand a chance.
Click and drag asteroids to defend yourself and demolish your enemies. Outflank point-defense systems, intercept homing missiles, and overpower massive bosses as you fight through 5 sectors and restore peace to the galaxy!

Captain Collision is a free to play 2D top down vertical scrolling Galaga ripoff with a twist, you can interact with asteroids on the game field to change their trajectory so they collide with bigger enemies. The game seems to have been built with the craptastic Godot engine, giving GameMaker Studio a run for the money for the worst thing to happen to gaming. I will say GameMaker still takes the crown, it's responsible for more trash and pollution on Steam than even Unity. Regardless, Godot is a terrible game engine and should never be used for serious game development. As a result of the poor choice of engine, the implementation quality here is woeful, with ultrapillarboxed aspect ratio that barely uses any of a 16:9 monitor real estate. Resolution and controls are locked so there's no way to improve the visuals or the lacklustre control experience. The game simply falls beneath acceptable standards for PC. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. Unplayably difficult physics-based game. Enemies are relentless and dragging asteroids with the mouse gives me carpal tunnel.
This is actually a really neat concept. Dragging asteroids to kill the enemies with the mouse is not something I've ever seen before. Definitely worth a try.
