About Childhood Simulator: Nettle Slasher

Take Back the Backyard

Nettle Slasher is a simple straightforward slasher about clearing a summer garden that's been completely taken over by stinging nettles. You play as a teenager on vacation, armed with all kinds of makeshift weapons made from sticks: melee and ranged, just like in the backyard games of childhood. There’s no grand story, no complicated systems. Just grab a stick and start cutting down weeds. It’s the kind of game you play when you want to turn your brain off for a while. Whether you're in for ten minutes or an hour, the goal is simple: take down the nettles, explore the garden, and maybe step past the old gate into something a bit darker. But make sure you're back before dinnertime!

Key Features

• A wide range of stick-based weapons
From simple branches to blasters, every weapon is imagined and improvised. Each one feels a little different. Try melee or ranged tools depending on your style.• A backyard turned overgrown battlefield
Move through tall nettles, blocked paths and forgotten corners. The garden is dense, messy, and full of surprises.• No pressure, no grind
No missions, no timers, no scoring. It’s a game you can pick up anytime and play at your own pace.• Optional exploration
You can stay in the safe parts of the yard, or step through the old gate and see what’s beyond.• Built around childhood imagination
It's a simple fantasy: hitting plants with a stick and calling it a mission. Now you can do it without leaving the house.

Why Play Nettle Slasher?

• Instant, satisfying gameplay
No long intros, no tutorials. Jump in and start cutting weeds.• Fits into short play sessions
Perfect for breaks, after work, or whenever you need to zone out for a bit.• Unique and lighthearted tone
Not heroic, not epic. Just fun and grounded in a familiar feeling.• Low system requirements
Fast to install, quick to launch, easy to run.• Made by a small indie team
Built with care and focus on keeping things simple and enjoyable.
