CityWarHeroes VR is an abandoned Early Access VR FPS wave survival arena shooter with a "cutesy" theme, as gameplay consists of standing completely still and shooting waves of cute aliens as they swarm at you. That's right, the developer didn't even bother adding movement to the game, that's how bad things are here. We've also got some very pedestrial low quality low poly "art" used instead of contemporary PC level graphics, making this look a bit like it was designed for mobile. The game was abandoned by the developer in an incomplete state around 2-3 months after dumping it on Steam in Early Access. It's been without any updates for at least 2 years. There's no way this is ever being finished. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes your game great is the VR, then your game isn't great at all. Imagine knowing your game is so bad that you make it a VR exclusive in the hopes it will prevent people playing it and comparing it to professionally developed games. CityWarHeroes VR is an Early Access Free to play VR wave shooter game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. Has a shooting range. Has only single player mode, but they might add a multiplayer mode later. You have 3 missions to try, Guard, Boss and Destroy. Try this, if you like wave shooter games.

Высокие небоскребы, взрывы вокруг и динамичные перестрелки действительно захватывают дух. Геймплей прост и интуитивно понятен, быстро осваиваешься с управлением и начинаешь получать удовольствие от боев. Особенно порадовали разнообразные виды оружия и способностей, которые можно использовать для победы над врагами. Однако, есть и недостатки. Сюжетная линия кажется довольно поверхностной и клишированной, не хватает глубины и проработки персонажей. Графика, хоть и неплохая, могла бы быть и лучше – иногда текстуры выглядят размытыми, а модели персонажей – угловатыми. Кроме того, игра довольно короткая, и после прохождения кампании остается мало стимулов для повторного прохождения. Не хватает дополнительных режимов игры или возможности поиграть с друзьями по сети. В целом, 'CityWarHeroes VR' – это неплохой VR-шутер, способный развлечь на пару часов, но вряд ли станет чем-то большим.

It's a fun free wave shooter, however, it's pretty rough but still worth a download.
