Nice & simple, and the type of thing that made my parents think of Space Invaders. It's not a complex game - one button to do anything - so they picked it up really easily. Had them freaking out over the giant UFOs wiping out the city which is always fun to see! =D The game is currently a little light on content, but I'm assuming that's going to change as more time passes because it's early access -- keen to see what they add next!!3 found this helpful
Kind of like space invaders in VR but i just found it kind of dull. Might have been cool the first time you ever played VR but having been playing it for over a year now its just a very simplistic bare bones game. If space invaders in VR interests you then you might enjoy it.2 found this helpful
A deceptively simple game that actually is fun for everbody, including first time users like me. Controls are excellent, and the different enemies pose a variety of challenges, while still being exceedingly satisfying to eliminate. This is a polished game that avoids all the pitfalls of Early Access. More content is coming, but you don't need to wait to get your hands on a great VR game.2 found this helpful
Based on the video and screenshots, I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of what this game has to offer. They show a cool missile turret, different environments, landmarks, even a survivors score. The game I’m playing doesn’t have any of that :-( Instead, it’s a real basic shooter in an anonymous city, you versus UFOs, the round ends after they destroy all your buildings, or the timer runs out. No missiles, different cities, or landmarks to be found. I believe the dev is overhauling the game, so I suspect the screenshots are from the early version, and the one I’m playing is still a beta work-in-progress. It’s not a bad game, there just isn’t a ton of content or variety of game play right now. Would like to see waves with different objectives, to keep it fresh. Right now I don’t believe it’s worth the full $10, but I got it in a bundle, and I’m happy with the time I’ve spent in it! Thumbs: UP!1 found this helpful
This is a nice little arcade wave shooter. I can only recommend this game, with it's current amount of content, at a sale price of no more than $5. I am also recommending this (at a lowered price) only because the dev team have promised additional "holiday" content in the upcoming months and performance/reliability improvements. Let's see what happens.1 found this helpful
Planet Protector VR brings the old game style into the future with its simple but fun graphics and easy to use controls.1 found this helpful
