What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players criticize Bullet VR for performance issues that worsen as destruction accumulates, along with poor graphics, gameplay, and overall design that feels like it relies solely on the VR novelty rather than substantive game quality. A small subset of players find the game's bizarreness entertaining enough to enjoy it ironically, though this represents a minority view against the widespread complaints about mediocre execution.

Needs some kind of despawn system, this game gets so unbelievably laggy the more you destroy things.1 found this helpful

Not good.
This is one of those so bad/bizarre it's amazing games. I was literally rotflol going through the dying sequence.
There's a new trend amongst developers who can't write video games but refuse to accept their lives stacking shelves or pressing the button on the machine in Starbucks. That trend is to make a terrible video game but then slap "VR" on it in the desperate hopes that people who pay hundreds of dollars on high tech VR headset displays aren't discerning about the quality of video games. Bullet VR is a perfect example of this. Awful graphics, awful gameplay, awful design, but VR!!! This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes your game great is the VR, then your game isn't great at all.
