Clear Skye Thinking

Amazing story as usual, 10/10 and works like a dream on the steamdeck ♥

This was a great palata cleanser & a genuinely good story - with one caveat. It doesn't start great. Alice is pretty much a whiny brat (by intention - not a writing mistake) at the start so the first 2 days are a bit rough. But she has a lot of growth (as much that is possible with this short of a VN) and there's a lot of good moment and some really good themes. It was an enjoyable and relaxing read without any too serious or dark stuff. I really liked it. Both Alice & Piper were great characters.

That was very sweet. Read it in one go, albeit really slowly. Some scenes and (most?) characters are mean and not pleasant, but overall this gave me a lot of comfort.

I generally prefer VN's with choices, not single linear paths. I had to get this one because of the Scottish setting though and it was pretty nice. I love the artwork and design of the two main characters, and the setting is great. That said I know far more than I ever wanted about expensive Japanese fashion. Would have played on the SteamDeck but it's out of commission, still ran without any issue on desktop Linux so it would be fine on a Deck. It might barely be short enough to get through on a single charge, I was just over 2 hours on desktop.

short and sweet

Alice pretty much summed it up when she said "KyaaaaAaAaAAAAAaaa!!!"
