Released way too early. The core game play is fun, but there just isn't enough there. The upgrades in the hub don't work, and therefor no meta progression. Any weapons you find on your runs lack any details, so you gamble all your gold on something that may or may not be fun or an upgrade. These are really really basic things that should have been included with release. Even in an Early Access it is just unacceptable. Basically everything that would make this a roguelite is missing from the game, and as it is now, it's just one run and your done.3 found this helpful
It's not much, but it's fair game.2 found this helpful
Seems fun but not ready for any sort of release. It's like alpha. No meta-progression. There's a good framework here. No reason to play right now.1 found this helpful
I'm not good at roguelikes and I'm not good at Crimsonwood, meaning it's true roguelike! Second level is challending, I hope eventually I get proper toolset for it. Didn't felt bored, for sure I will come back casually. Nephew, however, lilked it a lot. No bugs, no glitches. The developer is indie who actually engages with the community. Overall, worth to try.1 found this helpful
A great action roguelike bullet hell ballet! Fun characters and power ups, nice progression system, unlocks, fun enemy designs, punchy and tight play control and most importantly, that "hook" of "just one more run!". Don't sleep on this one. Worth every penny!
WHATEVER!
