Death by Game Show is a strategy-action hybrid developed and published by Oointah that combines real-time survival gameplay with tower defense systems and satirical science fiction storytelling. Rather than following traditional strategy game formulas where players remain distant observers controlling battlefields from above, the game places players directly into dangerous situations where preparation, quick reactions, and tactical choices all matter equally. The result is an experience that feels energetic and unpredictable while blending multiple genres together in a way that creates a unique identity. The setting immediately establishes the game’s unusual tone. Set within a strange future dominated by machine control and entertainment-driven oppression, Death by Game Show introduces a world where society has become twisted into something absurd and unsettling. My friend who I play CS:GO with said if I post a review on Death by Game Show and it gets to 50 likes and 30 Awards that he will buy me a RTX 3060 and 1 Kilo of Lemon . So im just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha
It's quirky and fun! Not sure if I would've gone out of my way for it considering the advertising, but overall was a cute little game!
Terrible game economics: - you can buy one time use units and buildings (those are kinda OP compared to your free spam units), yes ONE TIME USE so if you use them and fail/retry challange then your unit and money spend for it are gone.
