About Dependium
Work Together or Fall Apart
Dependium throws four players into a high-pressure coordination challenge where individual skill means nothing without teamwork. Each player faces their own rapidly rotating series of cognitive puzzles, memory tests, pattern recognition, shape matching, and reflex challenges. But there's a twist: the points you earn don't go to you.
Every puzzle you solve helps your team. Every puzzle you fail hurts them. When a teammate hits zero, they're out—and the entire team feels the loss.
How It Works
Four players. Four corners. Four different puzzles happening simultaneously.
You can watch your teammates struggle with their challenges in real-time, but you can't help them directly. All you can do is solve your own puzzle fast enough to keep them alive.
Health constantly drains. The clock never stops. Teamwork is everything.
Key Features
- Asymmetric Cooperation - Succeed together by helping the person next to you, creating a chain of mutual dependence
- Split-Screen Spectating - Watch all four players simultaneously as they race against individual challenges
- Rotating Minigames - Memory tests, color matching, shape recognition, pattern recall, and coordination challenges
- Escalating Pressure - Constant health drain and increasing difficulty force faster decision-making
- Boss Fight Sequences - Periodic synchronized challenges that require all four players to coordinate perfectly
- No AI Teammates - This is a real multiplayer experience requiring four human players
This Is Not a Solo Game
Dependium requires exactly four players. No bots. No single-player mode. If you don't have three friends, use the matchmaking to find strangers who are just as likely to let you down.

SUPER fun game. Friends will become enemies, enemies will become friends, and will humble you when you think you're the best thing since sliced bread. Definitely a good game to play with friends and will leave you addicted!2 found this helpful
This is a game concept that I have never seen before, and it's very engaging. You have to balance your concentration, intelligence, and reflexes in challenging, but engaging ways. The social aspect makes for a fun time as well, since your actions impact others directly and indirectly. This is a fun time!1 found this helpful
Im not a big puzzle-game guy, but this ♥♥♥♥ is so rad, It quickly became a party favorite among my crew. We just leave up and people will drop and join as they see fit. It's nice to be able to track your cognitive decline in real time. Also nice for fostering fast, efficient, communication in small-group settings (we're all cooks). ...For most of us, anyways. Get your ♥♥♥♥ together, Chris.1 found this helpful
For me it felt like I had a bit of a learning curve at first but then it was super fun and engaging to try and figure out all the puzzles and gameplay mechanics to get a good score for my team.1 found this helpful
Very interesting concept of teamwork. I love that you are not in control of your own life, but the life of your teammates. The games bosses are also quite unique, and did lead to some pretty funny moments when my buddies and I played. Looking forward more games from the creator.1 found this helpful
Fun little puzzles to play while you get mad at your friends for not healing you. Boss levels look easier than they are. Would accidently fail 3 easy number puzzles in a row again.
