DYO is an inventive cooperative puzzle platformer that takes a familiar split-screen setup and turns it into the foundation of its entire puzzle system. Developed by Josia Roncancio and published by Team DYO, the game follows two Minotaurs attempting to find their way out of a mysterious labyrinth. Instead of emphasizing combat, difficult platforming, or quick reflexes, it asks players to manipulate perspectives, understand spatial relationships, and cooperate to create paths that would otherwise be impossible to traverse. The result is a compact but memorable puzzle game built around an idea that feels genuinely different from traditional platformers. The defining mechanic involves the two halves of the screen, with each Minotaur normally occupying a separate section. These perspectives are not simply independent viewpoints. Players can manipulate and merge portions of the screens so that platforms and passages from one side connect with geometry on the other. A ledge that appears useless in one perspective might become a bridge when correctly aligned with the opposite screen. Can't believe this is free, it's a crazy good puzzle for 2 players (or solo) and I definitely reccomend this for co-op enjoyoors. It's sad the company had to shutdown but the fact that they made their title free before doing so earns my respect.
