About Desktop Mark

This is Mark.

And that's about it. Every time he hits a side of your screen, he rebounds, and speeds up just a little bit.

Sometimes, however, he hits the exact corner in a satisfying bounce. That's a signal to stop the work you're supposed to be doing, and play a little game with Mark.

Hit the corner? Procrastinate easily with 10 small minigames that are just fun enough to take your mind off your work.

From classics like Snake, sneaking through mazes, skydiving, chess and even beating up your brother, Desktop Mark has just what you need to scratch your entertainment itch!

Every minigame earns you Mark bucks, which you can then use to customise Mark with over 25 Marks, 40 hats and 10 corner-hit sounds.

Make Mark your own, earn achievements and play games. Yeah, that's Desktop Mark.

FAQ

 • Does he bounce around your real computer? Yes! He's always on top and transparent, so you can do anything else whilst he bounces.
 • How often does he hit the corner? Depending on what you've got the acceleration set to, around every 15 minutes.
 • Do I need to have a corner hit to play minigames? Nope! For a small amount of Mark bucks, you can play any minigame at any time, and even profit!
 • How many hours of gameplay will I get? Don't expect hours of content. Depending on how you play, you can have Mark as a simple distraction widget or grind minigames to buy every costume you can.
Don't... unless you are craving some nostalgia? /s
I'm almost convinced that I played a different game, when comparing it to the "praises" out there. The game is rather simple and straightforward. It's so simple that you are expect to already know about what you have to do with their mini games. Mini games that you need to do to earn money (a slower way is to wait for them to popup with Mark every so often). Money that you need for achievements and cosmetics. Besides that, there isn't anything else. You just leave the dot play like a DVD player screen saver. Also, it doesn't allows you to pick which monitor it will be at. It's either both or the main one. It doesn't have volume control either. The achievements are tedious and the games tied to them somewhat fastidious. The paid DLC is required for an achievement too. The nostalgia bit? It reminded me of games from the 2000s.

This is borrriiinnnggg. All you do is wait for Mark to touch a corner (WHICH IS A TIME WASTER) THEN play a minigame. Which you have NO control of it. And play the minigame, and LOSE because you are sleeping because is BORING. I played for 30 minutes and I feel like I want a refund but is FREE. If you are a 100%-er (like me) prepare for 50 hours of your life back.
