Desktop Pals 2

Ever Since the Lootbox Update, I am not recommending it at all.

Desktop Pals 2 is one of those games that is almost impossible to compare with a normal game because it is really more of a desktop companion. I enjoyed having little characters sitting on my screen while I work or play other things. The whole idea is built around collecting, customizing and creating these companions, and I think the simplicity works surprisingly well for what it is trying to do. The collecting system is the main attraction for me. Different Desktop Pals have different rarities, and daily rewards give me reasons to keep checking back. I liked the feeling of gradually building a little collection because the game does not demand my full attention. I can do something else while my pals sit there and keep the desktop feeling a little more alive. The customization features are another strong point. I can change where the pals sit, adjust their size and create custom ones using animation sprite sheets. The Steam Workshop integration is especially nice because it means the collection does not have to remain limited to the characters included by the developer. I cannot buy a fox that is limited time that I paid for in game currency just to get. I've had my fox friend for months til they decided to add a new lootbox update and now I can't have him back. Please fix the bug that stops me from buying the pal.
