As a visual novel I'll give this a 7.5/10(I am generous with my ratings, basically average) As an eroge(with the patches and stuff) I'll give it 3/10, the scenes were there, but they had the same issue as the first game, too short, or if not short, then weirdly long, just weird length issues with the scenes, somehow they thought putting petra would be a good idea in one of the scenes, there's way too little plot and way too many H scenes at near the end of the game, there's no background moans so voices just got weirdly cut off, the ui of the game is weirdly keyboard centric and important functions like auto were binded to Function keys with no options to change it or JUST HAVE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AUTO BUTTON IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE SCREEN LIKE EVERY OTHER VN. Modern laptops and PC's don't even let you use the f keys without holding the fn button, good thing I played it on a steam os handheld, even there having to constantly rebind buttons was a pain in the ass. Well all the gripes aside, I like characters like Maja (the username's KuudereEnthusiast what do you expect) but I feel like Yuuri's route/game was a lot better, still had the weird H scene pacing issues but atleast kanoko didn't…

Maja is the best, but it feels like it loses steam towards the end, when the couple is already stablished. It's still good, but despite a great first half, it leaves a weaker impression than the first game.

Destiny Star Girlfriend 2 was a sequel I was super excited for, and I am glad that it brought the same charm as the first game. Although the main heroine Maja of this story does not have as strong a character as Kamiizumi from the first game she still has her own distinct personality that made this sequel just as great a read as the first one. The story itself is just as short but they pack enough small moments in that really make the characters shine. The art style and music selection is still nice and colorful. Just like the first game I wholly recommend reading the second here.

To be honest I didn't have much expectations going in because Maja wasn't really fleshed out that much in the first game but I was pleasantly surprised. She is developed well here and while not as insane and unhinged as Yuuri her girlfriend mode is rather adorable. She also comes with a nice bonus.......find out yourself what that is. :D Heck, even Sabnock, the main big bad was portrayed in an interesting way. (actually it was hilarious and super amusing to me) Besides, there are all those fun classic moments the first game is known for. The story in this one also felt like it had a better paced and more gradual build up this time around, even the final battle rocked.
