About Seduce Me the Otome

✦ AI summary

You inherit your grandfather's sprawling estate and discover five injured incubi taking shelter in your home, leading you to offer them refuge in exchange for help around the mansion. Navigate romance, mystery, and supernatural danger across 22 different endings as your choices determine whether these charming demons become allies, lovers, or something far more complicated.

"It seemed like the start of something new. Something that would change."
You are a senior in high school along with your two best friends, Naomi Patterson and Suzu Cappini. You are also the granddaughter of Harold Anderson, the CEO and founder of Anderson Toys, a toy company sworn to give children amazing products and give a large part of their profit to charity.
One day, you get called home to attend your grandfather's funeral. After the funeral, you learn that you have inherited his large estate. Your father suggests you move in immediately, so the next day, you move out of your parents home and into your estate.
When you enter your new home, however, you see five injured, yet very handsome men on the lobby floor. They eventually awaken and make it known that they were attacked by a group of dangerous 'misfits' and ran to find shelter, passing out as soon as they entered your home.
You find out that they are incubi, 'demons who consume and use sexual energy of humans to survive'. With nowhere to go and a target on their backs, they ponder what what to do. Out of sympathy, you offer your home as refuge for a while in exchange for minor servitude (it is a big house, after all). They happily agree.
What will happen as the incubi get comfy? Why exactly did they come the human world? Who are the 'misfits', and will they stop pursuing them so the incubi can leave?
...Will you WANT them to leave?

Omg what can I say about this Perfection of a game! Alright, no game, and nobody is "perfect". But Being A "very" long time follower of the creator, the amazingly talented "Michaela Laws", just "had" to see this game through, and it did not disapoint. The art style: Incredible! The characters (Especially their VA's ^^), made me practically squirm in my seat when I would hear them speakimg to the MC (me, I guess, hehe. ^^;). The storyline/plot was amazing as well, these Incubi just showing up at MC's place, and they won't leave so the MC has to deal with them (ALL OF THEM! *Excuse me while my brain melts a moment*) and ugh, the "loom over you" angles were my absolute favorite visuals to see. I am a very big fan of deep voices/not having achoice in the situation, so this game (my first ever dating sim on Steam, I've played others in the "Shall We Date" on my mobile, which was also good, don't get me wrong, huge props for them for helping me learn what I like and don't like as far as dating sims go. But "This", Visual "and" Voice, it sent me into a spiral of hyper obsession, and really brought out the niche interests that I pursue...since I started high school (Since the game was rele…

Seduce Me the Otome is a surprisingly strong indie otome visual novel with a lot of heart. The story routes and branching paths are genuinely engaging and there’s a wide variety of character interactions that make each playthrough feel different and worth exploring. The background art is absolutely beautiful and often stands out far more than the character sprites themselves. While the character drawings can feel a bit inconsistent or less polished, the environments and overall presentation really elevate the atmosphere of the game. The writing and structure of the story are where the game shines the most - it’s easy to get invested in the different routes and outcomes and there’s a lot of content for fans of the genre to enjoy. At the same time, it’s hard to ignore that the creator’s public image and community presence have become a bit controversial, with some feeling she’s overly influenced by her own popularity. Still, despite that, the game itself remains a solid and enjoyable experience. Overall, it’s definitely worth recommending for fans of otome VNs, especially considering it’s free and offers so much content.
