Devil's Drizzle or "CHUVA DO CAPETAAAAAAA" was such a pleasant surprise!!! A fun and challenging journey, full of attention to detail and care for each level. The soundtrack is AWESOME! Aaaaand I loved the jokes and references the main character pulls even if they were purposely bad ones kkkk Reaching the bosses seemed more difficult than fighting them, and that's not being said in a bad way. The fights were creative and challenging, and the entire game didn't feel tooooo punishing, especially for someone like me who isn't used to this type of game. After about 500ish tries in some specific parts and feeling like I was stuck for an eternity, it all ended feeling a bit premature, lol once again, not in a bad way. It's a pretty solid choice of an indie game, an awesome brazilian title and y'all need to give it a go! I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Devil's Drizzle 💛

Screeenshots are "censored" and do not show how black screen is most of the time. No way to turn off this dumb mechanic.

Short and fun. 2.5 hours of mostly fairly relaxing platforming with a couple of frustrating sections, as it should be. The savepoints are frequent enough that the frustrations aren't too bad. The mixing it up with bits of flappy bird, ancient "skiing" games, and some weird hallucination semi-horror dream sequences keeps it fresh throughout. Could be a bit more than 2.5 hours if you want to get all the achievements, but I don't feel like it - I got 14 of 19 optional coins. The "extra" that unlocks at 11 amused me enough to be worth it, but I'll never know if there's another good one at more coins!

Devil's Drizzle presents itself as a colorful retro-inspired platformer, but beneath its playful appearance lies an adventure carrying far more emotional and thematic weight than first impressions suggest. What initially appears to be a strange journey involving a child, an unusual umbrella companion, and a supernatural threat gradually reveals itself as a story filled with imagination, loneliness, fear, and personal struggles. The game creates a world that feels whimsical on the surface while quietly introducing darker emotions underneath, resulting in an experience that constantly shifts between charm and uneasiness. One of the game's most interesting qualities is the way it blends innocence with unsettling themes. Childhood imagination often transforms ordinary experiences into dramatic adventures, and Devil's Drizzle appears to embrace that perspective completely. The world is filled with colorful environments and unusual creatures, yet there is always a subtle feeling that something deeper is hiding beneath the surface. Moments that initially seem cheerful can suddenly take on darker emotional meanings, creating a strange but effective balance between comfort and discomfort. …
