Rainy Day is such a simple game that I was surprised by how charming I found it. I play as a little piece of paper living in a town where it rains constantly, and the goal is basically to make it home while dealing with the weather. I liked how such an ordinary situation becomes a small emotional journey instead of simply being another platforming challenge. The gameplay focuses on avoiding obstacles while making my way through the rainy environment. The controls are straightforward, but I still have to pay attention to what is happening around me. Quick reactions are important in some sections, and I enjoyed the way the game turns something as familiar as walking home in bad weather into a small challenge. What makes the experience more interesting is the way the protagonist's attitude changes over time. At first, the rain is something I clearly want to avoid, but the game gradually encourages me to look at it differently.
