THE STORY OF DIESEL LEGACY
Take control of the dieselpunk future!Thirty-five years ago, the dense, bustling metropolis of New Libertis was born from an explosive boom of technological marvels. This new industrial renaissance saw the rapid expansion of the “Iron City”, pioneered by industrialist Hieronymus Frazer, founder of the now-omnipresent FALCORP.
Rising from the center of the city, the monolithic New Babel Tower siphons energy from the outer zones to power the glowing lamps of FALCORP’s countless labs. In its shadow the city’s workers - alongside gangsters, brawlers, and mechanized humanoid “autos” - spend their lives relegated to inhuman conditions with no hope of escape.
With almost limitless resources at his disposal, Frazer now seeks to secure his legacy and usher in a grand ascension for humanity’s elite. To that end, anything and everything may be sacrificed for his greater vision.
Bold, brazen champions will rise in the fight for tomorrow - the fate of the city is in your hands!

Sucks that literally no one plays this. It's mechanically sound, it's innovative as hell, all the animation is all hand-drawn and of superior quality, It even has silky-smooth ROLLBACK NETCODE and a DEMO. You couldn't ask for a better indie fighting game these days. Could have been a real winner. Still not too late for it to be one. Throw Mike Z a bone, lord knows he needs it after the hand he's been dealt.3 found this helpful
game is neat it's just unfortunate it had to get shot out back of a wendy's2 found this helpful
Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age is an ambitious and stylish reinvention of the traditional fighting game, developed by Maximum Entertainment and published by Gameplay Group International. Rather than relying on the familiar one-on-one formula, it introduces a fully cooperative 2v2 structure played across three parallel lanes, creating a layered battlefield that feels both chaotic and strategic. It stands out immediately thanks to its dieselpunk world—an industrial metropolis powered by heavy machinery, neon grit, and technological decay—and its cast of larger-than-life combatants. From the moment a match begins, the game makes it clear that it wants to push the genre into new territory. What defines Diesel Legacy mechanically is its three-lane combat system. Instead of a flat stage, battles unfold across three distinct planes, and players constantly shift between them to dodge attacks, set up combos, protect their partner, or outmaneuver opponents. This design transforms positioning into a dynamic, multi-layered puzzle. Lane switching becomes as important as blocking or spacing, and team synergy matters far more than in most fighting games. Coordinating cross-lane assaults, interrup…2 found this helpful
The last boss Hel makes the game extremely annoying to play - insane projectile spamming, extensive regeneration, the nigh-instant moves it uses almost exclusively and the mostly constant super armor that prevents any kind of non-RNG-based damage-dealing on it. It is like fighting a Blazblue boss with a Pit Fighter character. It is like a coin op game - you can only win when the game decides to not super armor and projectile spam you to death. When you do not want to play the game because the last boss is beyond cheap and such a waste of time to play against, it is a big problem for the attractivity of the overall product. I cannot recommend a game with such a negative fun factor. There is not even pay-off for that specific boss - plotwise or anything else, so the upsides are not there. Here is an attempt to describe what it is like to fight the last boss: you might get some hits in UNLESS it completely shuts you down with the combination of power armor and instant counters. Then the boss goes into invincible mode and regenerates 90 % of the damage it took, even if was 50 % of the life bar. The heavy damage you take from its counters does not regenerate. If you somehow survive to…
This game is great, the world is great, and the combos are the best ive seen in awhile. the one downside I see in this game now is that its kinda dead but even then theres so much solo content in this game that just makes it all worth it.
