It's a great collection, it hits right in the member berries. There's no input lag, if that was a thing at launch it's not here now, this is the best version to get, vs the console versions that apparently still have input lag. MK4 arcade version is the best version as it has higher poly character models than the pc port and can run at 4x resolution, yes no Goro like the pc port, but hey. Arguably the only negative here is no MK Gold, the only noteable omission. Mk mythologies and special forces aren't as bad as you were led to believe either, they have flaws but now you can load/save/rewind at least (as you can with every game here). MK trilogy rules. UMK3 always great, same for MK2 and it's a curiostiy to compare the console ports. Yes we don't really need the game boy ports, except as a curiostiy. The documentary and behind the scenes stuff is amazing, very informative. Recommeded.
UMK3 and Krossplay...
Bought this on sale and checked it out for a little bit so far. I don't see the hate that this game has been getting in past negative reviews, but I can see why some people say to wait for it to go on sale before buying. I'm not sure that I would pay the full price for it. It plays great for me, and all the bonus content alone (old ad pages from magazines, documentary) makes it a worth upgrade in my opinion from the Mortal Kombat Kollection that is also in my library, plus it has a few more past MK games that the previous MK Kollection didn't have.
