✦ AI summary

Diesel Attack is a fun side-scrolling shooter with good mechanics, cool design, and low system requirements that most players enjoy. However, players consistently complain about the repetitive, looping music that overwhelms sound effects and cannot be adjusted, along with inconsistent checkpoint placement that sometimes forces tedious replays of entire levels. Technical issues like incomplete controller support and occasional unclear objectives also detract from the experience, though a co-op mode is suggested as a potential improvement.

Diesel Attack is a fun little Side Scrolling Futuristic Shooter that I am sure many will enjoy! While the price is good, the graphics are well done and the action made me rage quit a few to many times. I still have a few nit-picks which I think need addressing. I found that the Sounds Effects where overwhelmed by the very repetitive music and no options could fix it. The controller support was good, but did not work 100% while in game, example locking and unlock of the weapons did not remove the message from screen or even display the game control keys... Of course these are just nit-picks and the game is an all around fun little barrel excitement, but a co-op mode would make it amazing. Enjoy I know I am!

A pretty challenging game for me, but I like it. Cool design and setting, enemies look unusual. The music is dynamic but not obsessive. Also, the game has low system requirements. I recommend.
Lost on Steam EP. 44
This is one of the 3 featured games in the weekly Sunday show. An unboxing for video games! You can watch the highlights of this game and the two others featured this week here: https://youtu.be/N7n8XsZDRng?t=57 [Thoughts and First Impressions] I must have really missed something when I was playing the game. I seemed to just get stuck at the end of what I imagine is the first level. I played it a number of times and could not figure out what to do in order to get past the flying space whale. It said "Beat off the barrels" but other than the sexual innuendo in the statement, I couldn't understand what they meant. I shot at them, tried to push them, tried to shield them... everything. Nothing seemed to work. So after around 10 minutes being stuck there not being able to proceed, I decided that I had enough of the game and moved on. It has more issues than just that extremely gamebreaking bug though. There seems to be no variety in the weapons that you have, the enemies are all pretty uninspired and the stages are just a mix of 3 or 4 colors that all blend together. The game just isn't fast-paced enough or varied to keep my attention for …

Fairly slow and easy game. Most likely a short one, too. I had to request a refund on this $1.99 game b/c someone thought it was a good idea to loop a heavy metal guitar riff that's only 5 seconds long to be the background music from the moment you start up the game until the moment that you turn it off due to the insanity of listening to the loop over and Over AnD OVER! other than that I mean, interesting designs. The bosses could use more feedback on whether ur doing much. Honestly, just add some screen shaking or something. Checkpoints need major work. Sometimes a death at a boss would mean you have to start at the beginning again and other times you'd pick it up at the boss. If the levels weren't so slow and a trudge on a 2nd playthrough I woudln't mind but the pacing is like a damn slug. More and weaker enemies could have probably shored up this issue. Anyways, overall. good first attempt at making a game.
