About Digital Audio Wasteland

In Digital Audio Wasteland, the apocalypse doesn't have to be bleak. In this comedic first person exploration game, you'll explore the wasteland, collect music from your surroundings, and mix it all together to bring bodacious beats back to the people-- all in the name of the GROOVE!

As a member of the Monastic Order of the Groove, you will embark on an audacious adventure as a nameless acolyte of the GROOVE, a seeker of sonic treasures in a world on the brink. In Digital Audio Wasteland, the apocalypse isn't about survival—it's about throwing the ultimate rave amidst the ruins.

Harness the power of music to reshape reality itself. Discover the hidden melodies of the world, whether they're natural harmonies or the beats you created, and wield them to craft radical tunes. These rhythms aren't just sounds—they're your companions, your tools, your ticket to revolutionizing the barren landscape around you in the form of musical magical little buddies.

Encounter a cast of eccentric characters, each with their own stories and secrets waiting to be uncovered. Solve puzzles not with conventional means, but with the harmonious manipulation of sound itself, unlocking new beats as you explore.

As you delve deeper into this quirky apocalypse, immerse yourself in a world where music reigns supreme. Your quest isn't just about throwing a party; it's about bringing hope, joy, and a sense of unity to a world content in its disarray by bringing joy back to the wasteland.

Get ready to groove like never before, because the sickest party of the end times awaits. Are you prepared to be the maestro of the Digital Audio Wasteland?

The game is a real innovative piece of good game concepts brought to life, I love making music to solve puzzles and bring the music back. However, the implementation isn't great, and there's two reasons why. You can easily do things out of order which softlocks certain quests or puzzles. Second, you can easily crash the game, erasing hours of work. Thirdly, the looping is not dynamic at all, which makes the music feel fixed in place. The loops are indeed decent but there could be a lot more polish put into them.

I got stuck at the mall raccoon. his dialog kept popping up over and over and locked my game and had to restart. Finished and found the daves.. cheated and jumped and skipped 90% of the boardwalk as well.

I like this game but falling out of the map in the dark mall and losing 30 minutes of progress kinda blows
