[h3]Grainy and rusted electric sheep[/h3] A really grainy grunge metallic and rusty feel. Reminiscent of the Fallout autumnal colour scheme, you explore a rather large amphitheatre of a rusting world under a dead sky, only memories remain. You must find those memories. It's not a hard game, it took me about 2 hours odd to find all the parts of the story. And I also wrote a guide which is linked below. [h3]Mechanics[/h3] The narration is a bit off-putting, but easily ignored, the game has more than one actual scene but you will spend most of the game in a huge rusting amphitheatre under a really interesting orange sky. At times you do have to jump up some steps, but nothing amounting to parkour. There are very few mechanics to the game. There are poem voiceovers you can trigger, each of them tries to hint at where the next memory piece is or where the next person who might have more clues to find is. A few are hidden but most are in plain sight. The map area is pretty vast though. The soundtrack is augmented by industrial sounds, wind sounds and more sounds of things on the wind. I think some lions, and probably a lot more wind and it all works to make the game pretty easy to just…

It is a step up from the previous titles with the characters and collection mechanic, but still has a kind of asset flip feel to it and the flat square design of the playspace doesn't make it fun to traverse. Easy to get stuck into every vertical surface. Found all but one cassette and i went through the city like 4 times. Check it out if you have ran out of brutalist stuff and want a little snack of concrete.

Rule №1,2,3 and 78 of a good* walking simulator... SHUT UP! Unless you're a really capable irl writer or poet - just. stop. talking. Keep the word count to the absolute minimum. What do you do? Quote a title of a popular piece of media in the first 5 seconds of your game. A newborn baby-vibe smashed headfirst into a cracked tile floor. You have all of these painstakingly designed environments - and you just have to water it down with banter. You deny them their mouths when they must speak. It would be less egregious if it wasn't voiced. Then one could just ignore it. It's voiced though. Not refunding it, not giving the thumbs down, let the algorhithm work its magic for the visual artistry alone. But I'm not touching this. [DISCLAMER PLAYED DEMO ONLY] I wanted to love this... and could... But it needs some editing. Don't get me wrong, I'm the target audience for a crunchy 90's inspired Indy game themed after Phillip K. ♥♥♥♥'s Bladerunner inspiring novel. But this didn't really deliver. The issue is that there is no real introduction, no evident plot, and no novel gameplay to catch your attention before you are immediately dumped into a huge space to explore with no context. I think there's something really cool buried in this game, it just needs to be refined a bit.

Explore and find the 7 gigantic "cassette" tapes in an indie, ambient, future-strange world with invincibility. If that sounds fun, you're set. :steamthumbsup: If you can't stand games with... - zero customizable controls of any kind - hate the feeling of getting stuck on walls you walk by/touch - clipping into walls - running into invisible objects - only having 3 monitor resolutions to choose from(1080p/720p/600p), 1 refresh rate(120), and 3 graphics settings(high/med/low) - having all dialogue read out loud to you, along with text displayed - nothing but vague ambient music and highly barebones indie characters - a level that's essentially a big square with a flat floor everywhere you go - overly dramatic dialogue/themes ...Then avoid this. :steamthumbsdown:
