Dimensional Rift

"Dimensional Rift" is a low poly minimalist/neon ripoff of "Fruit Ninja", a basic VR tech demo with little to no interest as a serious game. I think when developers make a key selling point that their game has a lot of "hand waving", that's a message for all of us to move on to the next shovelware game. This features fairly low quality low poly/minimalist 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
