About Outbreak in Space VR - Free
Influenced from classic old arcade games, Outbreak in Space VR is a game, which we could not experience in the past but dreamed of coming to reality one day.
Simple, solid, old school, 3D, challenging, intense gameplay.
Outbreak in Space VR requires you to move around, be fast, and have reflexes. It's not only fun, but also is a good exercise.
Challenge yourself for high scores and be placed in the leaderboards!
3 different style of maps:
Gameplay:
Use your shield to reflect the ball and try to break all the bricks. Bricks usually drop bonuses to make the game easier or harder for you, just don't pickup suicide!
Different bricks and bonuses give you different points. Your points will also drop every second, so try to be quick! Your point will automatically be sent to the leaderboards, so you can check how you did compared to all other players around the world.
3D Levels are very challenging but if you want a more laid back option, 2D flat levels are still a lot of fun to play because of how you use your shield in the 3rd dimension.
Bonuses:
Bigger Ball - Smaller Ball - Slower Ball - Faster Ball
Exploding Ball - Ghost Ball - Split Ball to 2 - Split Ball to 8
Bigger Shield - Smaller Shield - Laser - Show Invisible Blocks
Extra Life - Suicide

This is a REALLY FUN Arkanoid Block Breaker game in VR. It has 3 game modes, 2D, 3D, and 360 3D each one being more difficult than the one before. in 2D and 3D you have to avoid the ball getting past you, on 3D 360 mode you have to avoid grabbing the Insta Death modifier. You have a Shield on your hand that helps you bounce the ball back to the blocks, if you move forward or backwards too much in your playspace, the shield wont work, but there is more than plenty of room to maneuver freely. Sometimes when you break blocks Modifiers will start coming your way, you grab them by touching them with your shield, these include making the ball faster or slower (you can also change its speed by punching or pulling back punches when making contact with it) making the shield or ball bigger or smaller, getting an exploding ball that will break more than just the blocks it hits, or a ghost ball that will go through blocks destroying them all, also you can shoot lasers, and split the ball x2 or x8, also get +1 life or insta death. Basically this is the Classic Retro Game improved for VR, its really fun and entertaining, very easy to get into, and to waste time playing it. Recommended to an…2 found this helpful

"Outbreak in Space VR - Free" is a basic VR tech demo, essentially a 3D ripoff of Breakout (copyright Atari, 1976) made for VR. Why? Well, a lot of amateur developers seem to think making any game VR compatible is a "Ez-mode" "automatic win" button or something. It's not. What do you do in the game? Use a paddle, bounce a ball, break bricks, uninstall quickly. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "de…
It's free and I like it enough to play a round or two like once a year.
Before I played Outbreak in Space VR, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
