Distance is a space idle game. What a disapponting experience, I thought this was an actual idle game, but your only input is spamming ANY keys. Each 1,000~ keypresses or so your engine becomes much faster (to a MAX) and you just have to idle through an empty space. There are no real upgrades, no gameplay, no story, no music, nothing... Overall, this game is as active as a screensaver and has zero redeeming value. Avoid.

Distance is the numerical measurement of the space between two points, objects, or locations, representing the length of the shortest path. Other definitions include the "distance" in racing, which is the space between a competitor and the finish line, or "atmospheric distance" in games like "Distance" It looks like you have to accelerate a wireframe praline box through empty space while reaching from beacon to beacon. You can use an autoclicker to get to 20c (warp X) and then idle the rest. One counter goes down the other one goes up.

As someone who's not fond of the really complex and long idle/clicker games I really enjoyed this title. If you have never played a game of this genre before this is a great entry point. It introduces the concepts of an incremental system without having to bombard the user with learning different skill systems or resource management or prestige resets. All you do in this game is click and it makes your little square spaceship travel through the solar system just a little faster each time. It only takes about an hour to get to the end goal, the edge of the solar system, with an auto-clicker. During this time you pass notable objects like the JWST telescope, the various planets, and the Kuiper Belt for example. Each time you reach one of these notable milestones you unlock little facts about each one. It's not much, usually just a sentence or two of text and some numbers like the amount of moons and the diameter of planets, which is something I really enjoyed. I learned something new with every milestone, and the depth that these facts added to the gameplay was nice. One of the more fun aspects of this game that I found is that it not only registers clicks for progression, but ke…

It's alright but it's a very short game. Was 100% in about an hour. Game needs to be balanced a bit or maybe additional content added in to complete later.
