Let's make Doraemon's favorite dorayaki and create a store that will be the talk of the town.
First, make the sweets, set up the shelves, prepare the tables, and get ready to run the shop!

First, let's make a dorayaki.
Set up seats and shelves of sweets inside the shop and open it.
As you discover different sweets while making them, you will attract more customers.
Occasionally, you will fulfill your customers' requests and make your dorayaki shop famous and known throughout the country.

Five friends will become shop staff and help out in the shop. Shop staff have two parameters.
■Exploration...Helps you find ingredients and get rid of obstacles.
■Skill...Helps you make sweets in the kitchen and improve sweets in the prototype room.

What story is present in the game is quite simple and probably self contained, just Doraemon and company getting a handle on things on running the shop as other characters in the series pop up to join as extra staff (total of 5). Visually, it looks clean and characters are easily recognisable, despite how busy things get once your shop gets larger further in the game you go, but they're just "fine". They won't blow you away or impress you but it gets the job done. Gameplay loop is quite simple. Build facilities to unlock functions such as improving food item quality or conferring bonuses and arranging rooms in a way to maximize the theme/visual bonus. It looks like the game gives you customization or free reign on how you create food based on ingredients you unlock from expeditions, but there are only predetermined combinations, which wrong results being rejected. I grew up reading Doraemon manga and watching its anime counterpart so im quite familiar with the story and such about the titular character and their adventures together,imagine my suprise when this sim city management game by Kairosoft is pretty well versed in the lore of Mr Fujio universe considering most of the games from this company had reused asset so props to the dev team for doing their research. Still try to get the game during sales tho.. Gameplay is pretty easy for the most parts although there's some things to grind but still doable, one of the strong aspect of this game is the characters anyway. All in all pretty good time sink for a few hours . If i had to rate it its sit pretty comfortably at 7/10 imo.
This is the first time I have been introduced to Doraemon and I can see why it is popular. Even in this form it is quite charming. I would say this is one of Kairosoft's best works as there are a lot of details within this game to keep you busy. It does not feel grindy and there are little short stories included too. If the developers continue collaborating with others in the future then I am more likely to purchase those games as well. I had bought this game on sale and it is certainly worth it. I do enjoy seeing the little art styles and the loading screens in between. Its filled with personality and is just a lot of fun to play. Even if you have never watched the show I would still recommend you giving this game a go. There is a lot to unlock and new recipes to create. It is not difficult and you can easy find yourself playing for hours. I have still yet to complete the game and I am 14 hours in! This game follows the same as the others but there is a lot more content within and it seems faster paced too. Wow an actual fun Kairosoft game that isn't just a copy of other titles with a new fresh coat of paint. With music that makes it enjoyable to play again and again, wanna know why? Because its an IP game and Kairosoft wanted to show their collaborators their not lazy when in fact they are with the amount of ♥♥♥♥ they reuse in their games. I really enjoyed my time and if your a fan of Doraemon you will love this one, such a nice time that I wish the experience from OTHER KAIROSOFT GAMES had... anyways a really nice and cute game... though I DO NOT think this game is worth its 20 dollar price tag, the reason why it is because Kairosoft probably has to make a buck since their collabing with a different IP... wait for a sale for this one like I did.
This collab actually quite nice. It feels good to see all the old characters from the original series and also from the movies.
I love Kairosoft's pixel art.
