Dream Park Story

Even for a Kairosoft game, Dream Park Story is [i]addictive[/i]; I played three runs back to back in aiming for the number one theme park ranking. It's yet another solid Kairosoft builder/management sim: easy to play, but can get fairly complex as you go along. My only complaints are that there isn't enough variety with the park employees-- you can hire someone with the same name and sprite multiple times!-- and the points system used for upgrades and merch purchases is somewhat lacking. Points are hard to earn, and there's a bit of a learning curve with them. Also, upgrades aren't always guaranteed, which means that spending points is often a gamble, and the more points at stake, the riskier it gets. The annoyance of the point system gets lessened somewhat by New Game+, where any Level 5 bonuses you unlock for your attractions get carried over, but it still might be a dealbreaker for some. Despite that, I had more fun with this one than I expected to. May start up a fourth run sometime...

I love this game! c: The pixel graphic and sounds along with it feel retro, the animations of the people riding the rides are so adorable! Plus this game was pretty inexpensive, even their other games are fun as well. Give it a try! I promise you'll enjoy. c:

Run your own amusement park and complete requests to gain items to help boost up your facilities or gain new visitors. You can also buy mascot contracts and build little areas for them. Some requests will have you want to expand so make sure you have room but do not worry, you can move your facilities around in this game. You will also keep your upgraded stats should you need to destroy them. Rides with different level heights will also give you refunds if demolished too. It is a charming game with plenty to do. You can also hire contractors to expand your area for free, until you reach the stone which you would then need to upgrade by paying them the tools required. I never had an issue of running out of money. You can put toilets inside these little plaza areas to save room and each building normally has some place to eat or drink along with gift shops. Keep upgrading your facilities and you will be able to stay open beyond 6pm.

This is the first Kairogame that I really can not play a long time... Usually they are easy 100% achievement games... But here I surrender. Too slow, too boring... The precise planning needed for a park can not be done with the crude Kairo style...

This is one of the better kairosoft games on the market, its easy and enjoyable to play.
