About DotStrike
DotStrike is a 3D online shooter in which alien invaders in the form of colored spheres fight each other in a seaport.At the moment, two game modes are fully implemented: "Team Confrontation" and "Confrontation".
In the "Team Confrontation" mode, players are divided into two teams: red and blue. The goal of each side is to score a given number of points faster than the rest of the team.
In the "Confrontation" mode, each player is for himself. The strongest alien will win this fight.
The plot of the game
All weapons have infinite ammo. This is all thanks to the alien technology of instant cartridge fabrication. For example, in an RPG, after a shot, a rocket grows in the muzzle of a grenade launcher.
But the aliens are not fighting alone. In addition to them, there is another side. It's called "Unknown Power". Humans didn't just watch the alien conflict. From time to time, a bomber rises into the air and drops bombs on the warring aliens. In addition to people, there are natural disasters that also did not stand aside. This is a suddenly rising magma or a tornado that sucks everything in its path.
From the nearest plans to add game modes: "Zombies", "2122", "Serious Ball". As well as new guns, including alien ones.

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 2[/h1] Is this a good MP game for VR? No, it isn't. However, might it be worth $2 for cheap MP fun going against bots or possibly friends? Sure, but more like a sideways yes. You can choose some different combat modes, including FFA, team MP, or zombies (spheres turn black and it's really a FFA). You can pick up any weapon on the ground: sniper rifle (scope doesn't work in VR), minigun, or rocket launcher. There is only one map (a cargo dock). All player models are basically just colored spheres. You can choose to host or join a MP match if a server is active. Spoiler alert: there were no players online so I had to host a server. So I played against bots. I ran and I gunned and I died a lot. It was mindless, violent arcade fun. You do have full locomotion. I did not have any turning available and I didn't see any in the settings (unless I missed something). You can also jump. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. If you have low expectations, this might be the MP for you to play against bots. It's cheap. It works. Grab some friends or challenge your enemies to a game to the death in this fun pvp fps game. Or if you want to just challenge your self and see how long you can survive then jump into zombies mode.1 found this helpful
