Honestly, I really like VertalStrike. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I do, but there is something about this game that just makes me want to keep playing. It’s a simple idea, but it works really well: you get into a match, you spawn, and you are basically straight into the action. There isn’t much pointless waiting around, and that is probably one of the things I enjoy the most. The gunfights are fast and the matches can get pretty chaotic, but in a fun way. You always have something happening around you, so even if you die, you don’t have to sit there waiting forever. You just respawn and get back into the fight. I really like that because sometimes I just want to open a game and have fun without spending half of my time looking for enemies or waiting for a round to end. I also really like the overall style of VertalStrike. The low-poly graphics might not be for everyone, but personally I think they give the game its own identity. Everything is quite clean and easy to see, and the different maps have their own feel. Some areas are more open, while others are tighter and force you into close fights. Unplayable. No settings work correctly. You equipped a rifle for your loadout? Enjoy a pump shotgun. You want the semi-auto Sniper? Nah, here is a bolt. You queued up TDM? Enjoy FFA. Want fun? Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself.
