does not connect to servers anymore. game is dead, don't buy it The idea is interesting, the translation is awful, which is very funny but it's a game about ROLLING A DICE and DICE DOES NOT ROLL lol. I've tried doing a lot of default stuff you do when something doesn't work and nothing helped: I always get softlocked after every dice roll. A shame really, game looks very promising :(

Being a fan of mansions of madness, I really wanted to play this game. This game just doesn't work for me. Each time I try to roll a dice (and you have to in this game), the dice does not roll and the game softlock. I have the music, I can interact with the menu and everything, but I can't see the result of the roll and therefore cannot close the test window, pass my turn or progress in the scenario. The problem I have is shared by at least 3 other people so it's not an isolated incident. I tried so many times, after each patch since I first bought the game in october or november. Considering the fact that no one acknowledged the problem for several months (I reported the bug in game, created a discussion in steam forum where the dev does not come, replied to several patch notes with questions about this bug) and that it's not isolated to me alone, I now reluctantly give a bad review to this game. This is a warning to potential buyers that you might get unlucky like me, and if you do, dev won't care unfortunately.

"Dreamsketcher" offers a nice gameplay-idea: entering the nightmares of patients, combining isometric exploration with turn-based, card- and dice-mechanics. The combination seems a bit rough at first, but as soon as you get into it, it works fine. The graphics are a bit standard, not like a coherent art style, but you can identify what has to be identified. What confused me at first, was that the game always looks and feels like a multiplayer game, possibly it was meant for it, although I can play in singleplayer. It may be an indie project with some rough edges, but I liked the experience. Hint for newcomers: In case you despair watching the slow text windows, one letter per second, try to double-right-click, and the text unfolds completely. True time-saver ;) !
