Somny & Yawn: Dream Detectives

Love the idea and the possibility to play at the same time without being in the way of each other with annoying splitscreen. Would have loved more difficult puzzles to force more interactions between the two detectives so we have to talk to each other to progress and find the next hints. Sadly, it is too bugged and we could not finish the first level. Would have loved to try the whole game.

Somny and Yawn is a fun little two hours romp you should try out with a friend. The game really has a lot of charm in it's presentation; my favorite feature was the dialog music changing along with the character's emotions. The game is pretty janky and lacks polish in mechanical aspects, especially the end minigame where you have to prove your case, which has the right answers and wrong answers completely mixed up and is really broken because of it. Still, it's two hours, it's free - there's a lot worse for a lot more on steam

It's a nice little game. It was a little short, I expected more islands. Would love to see more! I could not complete the "Tut O'rial" on the first run since I could not scroll up and down for Yawn. But on the second run it worked!

Nice demo to play. The part where each other interrogate at the end of the level is a nice idea. My friend and I find that we were not talking to each other that much during gameplay to find clues. We did at the near the end of the first level tho. Overall very nice concept.
